Practicalities & Registration
Where
We're excited to be hosting the Forum at Circa - the first circular venue in the Netherlands. In case you're not familiar with the circular concept; sustainability is everything. The focus of the venue is to reuse & recycle, and to operate as sustainably as possible. Designed by legendary architect Richard Buckminster Fuller, their iconic geodesic-sphere exterior is constructed entirely with recycled materials.
For whom
The focus of the Forum will be on the community of practitioners that is working on vocational excellence on a daily basis, in schools, companies, public organizations or (non) governmental organizations. The Forum on Vocational Excellence is characterized by its hands on nature, building new connections, building a community of practitioners, sharing best practices and lessons learned, and co-creating synergies between initiatives on regional, national, European and global level.
The Forum is a hybrid event with the option to participate on site or online, with dedicated program elements for each target group so everyone gets the most out of the event. This means that not the entire onsite program will be available for the online participants, and vice versa. In the spirit of Benjamin Franklin’s quote: ‘tell me and I forget, teach me and I will remember. Involve me and I learn,’ this Forum is not just an event, it’s an adventure:
- Including expeditions to 15+ public private partnership projects in VET across the Netherlands, covering a broad range of sectors, where the participants can experience first hand the Dutch approach to Vocational Excellence;
- In preparation and anticipation of the Forum, we will take you virtually along all CoVEs, so you get the most out of your visit to the Forum on Vocational Excellence
- The program itself will be highly interactive, engaging all participants in the dialogues and workshops, with ample time and space to network, share knowledge and exchange best practices
Participants will be professionals working on Vocational Excellence, such as:
- Project leaders and partners of the Erasmus+ Centers of Vocational Excellence (Companies, (non) governmental partners and educators)
- VET professionals working on National initiatives for Vocational Excellence
- Members of the ETF ENE network from Europe’s partner countries
- Project leaders and partners of related Erasmus+ projects, such as the Forward Looking Projects on Applied Research, etc.
- Policy makers working in the field of skills, education, smart specialization strategies and innovation on regional, national, European and global level.
