AR/VR Adaptation for CoVEs: Immersive Training with Digital Twins

This workshop showcases the application of AR/VR and digital twins in vocational training. Using Matterport technology, participants will experience the creation and application of digital twins in real-time. This session will highlight the use of accessible technology in creating immersive training environments, crucial for enhancing skills in industries like sustainable energy and offshore wind. The session will include:

•    An introduction by SECOVE and T-shore CoVE. 
•    Live demonstration of environment recording with 360-degree cameras. 
•    Interactive group work to identify training focal points in the digital twins. 
•    Group discussion on the adoption of digital twin technology, focusing on required resources and potential industry applications.
