Inclusion in technical VET: how to attract more girls

This workshop will focus on attracting girls in technical VET specialisations, addressing stereotypes and barriers and proposing policy measures and practical support for VET institutions to increase enrolment and retainment of girls in TVET qualifications. The workshop is co-organised by the projects SECOVE (Sustainable energy) and INVEStech (ICT). During the workshop, we will share good practices and we will organise an exchange of experience and knowledge between participants.

The workshop will include:

An introduction to the activities of SECOVE and INVEStech projects regarding gender inclusion in TVET.
Group discussion on stereotypes and barriers for girls choosing technical VET qualifications
Group discussion on proposals for increasing gender balance in TVET.
