Lessons learned on Sustainable Energy Education (SEED)
The session will focus on three important lessons learned of the SEED project to inspire participants how to move from plans and ideas, to applying knowledge and establishing CoVEs. For each of the topics discussed, participants will have the opportunity to either experience the method or apply the insights to their own regional or international context. The lessons learned discussed are:
- Organising student and teacher exchange in a PV summer school
To power up the future with solar energy, The Finnish CoVE organises an international PV summer school for students and teachers. Get insights on the online and offline programme, the organisation by the regional CoVE, the parallel programme for students and teachers and explore how you can adapt such a flexible learning programme to your own CoVE. - Mission mapping as a tool for regional and transnational learning
CoVEs bring together different stakeholders to foster local and regional development. But where to start? And how to make it accessible? Mission mapping allows you to formulate a shared mission based on your learning vision and helps you to move from plans to identifying actors, activities, opportunities, goals and routes within the system. During the workshop the participants will experience this innovative way of working and receive the tools to replicate this in their own CoVEs. - Good practice implementation (the do’s and don’ts)
Implementing good practices from other regions remains a challenging task with unique regional characteristics influencing the process. In SEED we have defined steps (from presenting the good practices, to speed dating, match making, dedicated information sessions, study trips etc.) to facilitate the implementation of good practices in new regions. We will showcase these different steps and methods used to help you get a grip on good practice implementation.
