Green Hotspot Houten

This public private partnership is the coordinator of the CoVE European Platform for Urban Greening.

Just south of Utrecht, it’s not surprising that the Green Hotspot Houten is one of the greenest visits we have planned. This learning community teachers students at MBO level, as well as inspiring, upskilling and reskilling gardeners, landscapers and urban-greeners. Where better to coordinate the Centre of Vocational Excellence European Platform for Urban Greening? This CoVE has the goal of increasing our green and sustainable urban spaces, by intensifying the collaboration within the knowledge triangle (VET – Research & Development – Business), and developing high-quality curricula focused on the skills needs of the challenges faced by society and industry.
